Before founding this company Calvin Carter was running a web development company. The day after the first SDK was announced he founded it and immediately produced 9 apps^[1]. No venture capital was raised, it was all "organically grown". Based on the fame he reaped from these apps he began to have big name clients like PBS and NPR.
