CodeMash
From Cocoapedia
CodeMash is a developer conference held annually in January in Sandusky, Ohio, USA at the Kalahari Indoor Waterpark and Conference Center.
The conference is unusual in that instead of focusing on a single technology or developer community, it deliberately "mashes up" different target audiences. Major tracks include web development (based on server-side scripting languages like Ruby, Python, Java, and Scala), Microsoft technologies (.NET, Aszure, etc.), and others. Attendance is capped at around 700 people and the has sold out every year since 2009, with the 2011 filling up in 3.5 days.[1] Owing to an expansion of the Kalahari conference center, the 2012 event expanded to 1,200 seats, and nevertheless sold out in 20 minutes.[2]
Since 2009, the conference has had a growing amount of content related to Apple platforms, including half-day programming tutorials and hour-long sessions on Mac and iOS development.[3]
