Colin Wheeler
From Cocoapedia
Colin Wheeler is a Cocoa Developer & Enthusiast living in Ames, Iowa. He is the group leader of the local Des Moines Cocoaheads and founder of the local NSCoder Night Group in Ames.
He started his blog CocoaSamurai just to get enthusiasm for Cocoa/Objective-C going for members of the (now disbanded) AmesMUG (Mac Users Group.) He became well known after Scott Stevenson picked up Cocoa Samurai for his Cocoa Blogs site. Most of the members of AmesMUG are now members of the Des Moines CocoaHeads Group. He has been a proponent of many developer technologies such as Git, DTrace, the LLVM Compiler/Clang Static Analyzer/LLDB (debugger), F-Script and more, writing articles to get developers more familiar with how to use them.
When not working his dayjob he is working on the Mac apps he intends to go indie with.
[edit] Speaking
Colin is an experienced speaker frequently speaking at Cocoaheads meetings, and has appeared on several podcast episodes on the Mac Developer Network (now iDeveloper TV) and appeared in several episodes of MacBreak Dev Video podcast.
