Drobnik KG is a privately held company founded in 2001 by Klaus Drobnik, Oliver Drobnik and Dieter Drobnik.

Drobnik KG has originally been founded to serve as a legal entity to hold the family's real estate. Since then this aspect is being managed by Klaus Drobnik.
When Oliver Drobnik became self-employed the IT part was added. To differentiate the iOS development activities the trade name Cocoanetics was chosen. Apps are sold as Drobnik.com.
