Sorin Stefan Nicolin

Sorin Stefan Nicolin (born July 19th, 1978) is co-founder of Spielhaus and co-founder of Cocoapedia. He lives in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Nicolin was born July 19, 1978 in Buchares, Romania as the only child. His parents have both an IT background that they do not longer pursue.
After spending the childhood in Bucharest, his parents moved to Germany where he learned the language and attended the secondary education schools. After high school he began to study Computer Science at the Technical University, Wiesbaden. He earned a graduate degree in Computer Science.
He worked for several technical oriented companies. Most of his time he worked as a Unix sysadmin for //SEIBERT/MEDIA GmbH in Wiesbaden. Actual part time occupation consists of his position as information architect at Coded Culture GmbH also in Wiesbaden, Germany.
He started to develop for the iOS platform by the end of 2008 after he finished his diploma thesis. Together with Chi Trung Tran he founded Spielhaus and produced several apps during his spare time. Current occupation at Spielhaus include coding, sound design, marketing and overall concept work and creativity supervision.

As a developer he focuses on iOS development, ocasionally also creating web applications based on the Ruby on Rails framwork.
