Stuart Carnie
Stuart Carnie is an experienced iOS developer, who is available for consulting services. He has been involved in enterprise software development and architecture for over 20 years. He co-founded Manomio and serves as CTO of it. He is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Stuart holds a bachelor of Applied Computing from the University of Tasmania, Newnham campus with a minor in electronics. Stuart's first experience writing code was in BASIC on a TRS-80 at the beginning of the 80's. By the time he was 15, he had written his first application entirely in Turbo Pascal 5.0 for analysis and reporting of data captured from Psion handheld devices. It was superseded by his University project 6 years later. Stuart enjoys optimizing code and his past has involved doing time in x86 assembly as a hobby in the late 80s. More recently he has enjoyed optimizing his current and upcoming projects in ARM assembly.

As soon as Apple announced an SDK would be available for the iOS family of devices, Stuart signed up for the beta program and downloaded it on the first day.

For most of his engineering career, Stuart has held a senior roles, mentoring other developers and leading architecture and design of enterprise class applications.

Stuart has contributed to a number of open source projects, including Cocos2D, Mono XNA, NHibernate, homebrew, Commodore 64 for .NET, and more.
