Voices That Matter: iOS Developers Conference is a conference held multiple times during the year in different locations. They are managed by Barbara Gavin at Person Education. The conference is chaired by Erica Sadun and features leading Addison Wesley authors as well as other industry leaders.
[edit] Philosophy
The conference was formerly known as the Voices That Matter: iPhone Developers Conference, with "iPhone" changed to "iOS" for the Fall 2011 event. The conference recognizes that Apple's rebranding of the iPhone OS to iOS is telling. Make no mistake: iOS is at the heart of Apple's future plans for mobile and net-connected devices such as the iPad.
