Before starting on iOS development the company was originally focussing on Search Engine Optimization.
After initially developing a variety of apps focussing on sending cheap or free SMS, Webreach created Extra! Extra! to give the user access to frontpages of 800 newspapers worldwide. They came under fire when TUAW posted an article claiming that Extra! Extra! was using copyrighted material from Newseum without permission[1].
